CRER Event: Equality and Involvement with the Public Sector

This seminar aims to bring together Voluntary and Community Sector organisations which have experience of engaging with the Public Sector to identify some key rights, responsibilities and opportunities for change.
Public Sector bodies have a growing need to involve equality organisations and communities. The new Scottish Public Sector Equality Duties have reinforced this, creating opportunities to improve the influence of Voluntary and Community Sector organisations on decision making in the Public Sector.
The results of the seminar will be used to develop a report which will inform ongoing work in strengthening the ability of Voluntary / Community and Public Sector organisations to work together to create change.
