Time: 10am to 4 pm
Purpose of the Event: G.W.V.S.N. are keen to increase their membership and identify the key issues currently affecting women and women’s organisation.
If you are already a member of the Network this is your opportunity to come together with other like-minded workers (paid and unpaid) to discuss the issues facing women and our sector and to influence the work of the Network over the coming 12 - 18 months. If you are new to the Network, this event will allow you to find out more about who we are and what we do and is a great networking opportunity.
What is Open Space: Open Space was created in 1985 and brings people together to discuss a common theme. Open Space if fully participative, there are no talking heads, and believes that the participants are the real experts. Just arrive with an open mind and the burning issues you want to see resolved around women and the women’s voluntary sector.
Who should attend: Women who are working (paid or unpaid) on Women’s issues in the voluntary/not for profit sector in and around Glasgow. You may be working for a women’s organisation, or be a worker on women’s issues within any organisation. You could be working in any role on any aspect of women’s issues within your organisation. Above all you should be passionate about working to resolve women’s issues and be interested in meeting and talking with others who feel the same.
